GT2 Timing Belt Pulley for Milling or Printing
thingiverse
This pulley is designed for milling purposes yet can also be printed on 3D printers. It comprises two nearly identical parts with slightly varying hole sizes. For milling, use a 1/4" thick Acetal sheet and bore size of 5mm. Consult the PDF drawing for part numbers, BOM, and exploded assembly view. Required hardware includes M2 set screws, nuts, and #2 sheet metal screws for 3D printing purposes. For milling, employ a 3 Axis CNC mill or router with a cutter no more than 1.2mm in diameter to achieve accurate outlines on the working surface; however, larger cutters like 3.175mm, 1.5mm, and 1mm endmills can speed up material removal for mass production. Utilize CAM software to generate G-code specific to your machine and tooling.
