I use this gear on my DIY L3K extruder setup. It mates with a GT2 16 tooth pulley on the motor, providing a gear ratio of precisely 5.625. With the E-steps set at 763.115 using my homemade hobbed bolt, smooth and precise 3D printing is possible. I fabricated this particular tool myself to create the hobbed bolt from Thingiverse's open source project number 185448.
