GT2 PULLEY
thingiverse
A Fusion 360 parametric model of a GT2 pulley I created for a custom design project. Just modify the parameters (number of teeth, pitch, belt width etc.) in the parameter list and the model will automatically update. I have added the main parameters to the favorites list for easy access. Explore the user parameters to discover additional settings and equations. I hope you find this useful. (Ignore the STL - it's just a workaround so I can publish the Fusion model...) EDIT: 27-JAN-2019 I identified a bug where the tooth sketch could unexpectedly change direction, preventing the model from updating. Additionally, the grub screw holes had a tendency to malfunction due to their placement on a cylindrical face. I discovered a solution and both issues should now be resolved. I also added a basic belt length calculation to determine the minimum required belt length between two pulleys for a given spacing. If you plan to incorporate a tensioning system, you'll need to increase the belt length accordingly (beyond the scope of this template). The model has been updated to v2
