This pulley is engineered to fit snugly onto an 8mm shaft. To secure it firmly in position, you will require four 4mm screws - two on each side will suffice. This custom-built pulley is not intended as a permanent replacement for your original (aluminum) pulleys; rather, it serves as a proof of concept. They also make excellent keychains.
