Here are two outputs of optical encoders with 6mm shafts rotating at the same speed: One output tube couples two 6mm shafts end to end, linking them with a central 17-tooth GT2 timing belt pulley that has a diameter of 2mm. A flag for an optointerrupter is located on one end. OpenSCAD files for these outputs are provided in the attachment.
