GT2 belt clip.

GT2 belt clip.

This clip secures excess belt within your printer or devices using GT2 belts, keeping them tidy and organized. The belt folds over, meshing its teeth together to hold it firmly yet safely, without exerting undue strain. A cable tie guide notch is discreetly incorporated into the open end for added versatility, though I prefer not to use one since the part's design already secures the belt effectively. This grip outperforms the cable tie method depicted in user guides by placing less tension on the belt. I utilize this clip as the tensioner on my Anet A8's X-axis belt. The belt wraps around a pulley on the head assembly and folds back to this part, where the grip secures it under tension. This setup allows me to tighten the belt in two-millimetre increments. Additionally, I can release the belt tension within ten seconds if needed. I printed this clip with 100% infill for its long-term durability. Preliminary testing also showed that printing with 0% infill yielded similar results, making it a versatile option.
