Update No. 2, April 5, 2020: X-Axis Clamp Added The V2 is now without a spacer, while the V2.1 features a Spacer. The naming system remains the same: X_V2 has identical features to Y_V2 and so on. Status: V2 without spacer tested successfully; V2.1 not tested. Update No. 1, April 5, 2020: GT2_Clamp_Ender_5_Y_Carriage_Sling_Beltspacer_v2.1.stl is now available. This improved Version 2 features a Belt Spacer that presses the belt down by about 5mm into the 2020 Profile. The Spacer is 5mm wide, so there should be 0.5mm space left and right in the V-2020 Profile slot. Status: NOT TESTED. This design aims to create an easy-to-use fixation for Ender 5 belts. Three versions have been designed: One without a Sling, featuring a self-locking design; however, it was redesigned due to printing tolerances, which resulted in impractical teeth. -GT2_Clamp_Ender_5_Y_Carriage_without-Sling_v2.stl (not recommended) To improve the previous design, a Sling Version 1 was created. This version features a kind of spacer that is 6mm wide and pushes the Belt down to run more straight within the V-Slot. -GT2_Clamp_Ender_5_Y_Carriage_Sling_v1.stl (not recommended) However, due to issues with the V-Slot touching the carriage and tolerances at the carriage, a second version of the Sling Clamp was designed. This version features no spacer, which could cause friction at the 2020 profile. It's easier to twist the Belt than expected. WARNING: Disconnect the Y-Stepper before adjustment and belt installation, as manual moves may cause a short circuit with fast stepper voltage values, damaging the board or stepper drivers. Simply pull the connector at the Y Stepper. My slicer settings for excellent results: Layer: 0.12 (cura Super Quality) Temp: 195°C Infill: 50% (cura Triangles) Support: NoSling = Yes Sling V1 = Yes Sling V2 = No Wall thickness: 1.2 (3 pieces) Upper Layers: 7 Lower Layers: 7 Speed: 80 Wallspeed: 40 First Layer Speed: 20 Support zigzag
