I aimed to utilize this compact enclosure while still having the flexibility to incorporate Aviation connectors such as those found at https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B07M9665VL, so I created a plate with openings for M16 fittings. To accommodate 4 axes (each requiring 4 lines) and 6 additional signal lines from the box, I needed a total of 6 connectors. In order to accommodate the long plugs, I added height to the plate.
