The GSO Newtonian Crayford carried by Agena Astro features a curved shaft support, making the design slightly more complex. This mount and adapter follow that curve, ensuring a seamless fit. Replace M3 screws with longer ones for optimal performance. The stepper mount is secured to the adapter using M3 screws, while the adapter employs M3 threaded inserts at the front for additional retention. A 100mm 2GT belt is used, but a tighter fit can be achieved with a 110mm belt.
