Grykmin Gremlin Paintbrush Holder

This is a custom paint brush holder. I've struggled with motivation when painting, but working on an army called Grymkin made by Privateer Press for Warmachine / Hordes has been a game-changer. To stay motivated, I decided to add a small gremlin begging me with a paintbrush. Want to know more about Grymkin? Check out their gallery at privateerpress.com/hordes/gallery/grymkin-the-wicked-harvest I edited the original file using Maya and then imported it into Mudbox for sculpting. The focus was on getting the head, stomach, and muscle composition right, while still allowing the model to kneel with a brush in hand. The arms are separate pieces to save printing filament. I attached them with poly-cement, which melted together nicely. To achieve a smooth finish, I used an acetone bath (note: this works with PLA, but may vary depending on the brand).
