I drew inspiration from several sources: MTG Guilds of Ravnica by Arch_Bacon and Gloomhaven Forgotten Circles Monster: Valrath Savage by VirtuallyJason. The dynamic pose of the Valrath caught my eye, but I needed to adapt it for my Ravnica campaign where tieflings don't exist. I edited out the horns and tail to make it fit in seamlessly. To bring this creature into the Medium realm, I added a Gruul coin to its design.
