This is a clever solution for a Grundtal Spotlight swiveling mount available online at http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/50119351/. I had to modify the lamp's light angle against the ceiling but I wanted flexibility in my design. The two half circles allow 180 degrees of rotation, providing complete adjustability. Currently, the fit is snug and secure, with a doubled-over twist tie serving as a makeshift pin to keep everything aligned. In the future, if the connection becomes loose over time, I plan to replace the twist tie with a screw and wing nut for added stability. As it stands now, this extra precaution isn't necessary.
