Human: engineered in SolidWorks simulated in ANSYS Workbench employing a highly compact design featuring a compound gear train that utilizes less than 50% of the allotted design area as determined by the GrandOff Jury. The gear ratio is 500:1, with an input torque of 0.042 Nm and an output of 20.225 Nm at 1 rpm. Shaft Connection: Oldham's Coupling; Shaft Material: Steel or Acetal Polymer. The simulation was conducted on both the pinion gear at a torque of 0.05 Nm, yielding satisfactory results with a factor of safety exceeding 11. Hysteresis measurement is unfamiliar territory due to its electrical properties; however, eddy currents in transformers are understood, whereas shafts do not exhibit similar characteristics. The avi files should be opened exclusively using VLC Media Player as the compression was done in this format; no other media player will be able to open these files except for VLC... The uploaded files comprise CAD designs, simulations, and ANSYS simulation reports. I hope you enjoy my project, which has been a 12-day endeavor during which I became familiar with SolidWorks FEa but also acquired knowledge of ANSYS FEa as well... This design adheres to DFM standards, and the gears were selected from established standards.
