I printed Steve Campbell's remarkable Grumpy Pumpkin model. Upon showing it to a friend, he suggested adding a light source within for enhanced effect. Inspired by the idea of a lit carved pumpkin, I designed an opening at the top and bottom to accommodate the light source. The model was crafted using colorFabb XT transparent copolyester material at 200 micron step. Despite some unfill overhangs, the result was visually appealing. A white version with colored LEDs or a GITD with UV LED inside would make it even more striking. To assemble, print the base as a vase and the top with about 7% infill for a perfect fit.
