The Grumman-built OV-1D Mohawk was a twin turboprop, high-wing armed observation aircraft for the US Army. Designed to observe battlefields and strike lightly while operating from short, rough landing fields, it replaced and outperformed the Cessna L-19 Bird Dog in a joint Army-Navy project. From 1959 to 1969, 380 Mohawks were produced with variants including FLIR, SLAR, armed, and emergency supply-dropping versions. This versatile aircraft served as an observation, close air support, artillery spotter, photo recon, and more before being cancelled in 1970 after distinguished service in Vietnam. The model features animated ailerons, flaps, propellers, elevator, rudder, retractable landing gear, and canopy opening. It's available for download in various formats with all textures and materials included.
