This meticulously crafted model, based on actual dimensions, features a fully-textured cockpit with detailed controls and instruments, as well as radar hood and gun sights. It also includes seats, landing gear doors, oleo struts, tires, wheels, and lights. The model boasts animateable propellers, ailerons, flaps, rudder, elevators, retractable landing gear, and folding wings. The carrier-based Tigercat was among the fastest Navy fighter planes during WWII but was succeeded by jet-powered night fighters in the 1950s.
