Available in 12 paint schemes and 10 formats, this model represents the carrier-based Tigercat, one of WWII's fastest Navy carrier-based fighters. Serving the US and Australian navies during WWII and Korea, it was eventually replaced by jet-powered night fighters in the mid to late 1950s. The radar-equipped version included a RIO or Radar Intercept Officer seat.
