The F-14D Tomcat is a supersonic, twin-engine, variable sweep-wing, two-seater strike fighter. Equipped with F110-GE-400 engines, new radar, and advanced avionics systems, the first production F-14D took flight on February 9, 1990. This aircraft can carry AIM-9, AIM-7, and AIM-54 short, medium, and long-range air-to-air missiles, as well as air-to-ground ordnance like the Rockeye bomb and CBU cluster bombs.
