The highly detailed Grumman F-14D Tomcat model boasts near-scale accuracy and complete texturing. The model also includes a detailed cockpit, engine exhaust, and more. Available in 10 formats, the cockpit canopy opening is animated. Models with squadron liveries come equipped with missiles, pylons, and additional textures. Three liveries are included: 1970s bright markings, 1980s subdued colors, and 1990s drab schemes, all representing a single squadron. A High Poly (HP) version omits landing gear, some details, but has a polygon count of 139,909 and a vertices count of 75,708. The Very High Poly (VHP) model includes landing gear, doors, and detailed cockpit components with a polygon count of 261,051 and a vertices count of 139,761. A bare metal version is also available without missiles, pylons, or fairings for custom paint liveries. The F-14D Tomcat is a supersonic, twin-engine fighter equipped with F110-GE-400 engines, new radar, and avionics systems. The first production F-14D flew on February 9th, 1990, and can carry AIM-9, AIM-7, and AIM-54 missiles as well as air-to-ground ordnance.
