Bird files accumulate rapidly near wetlands and open areas throughout much of the United States and Central America. These large V formations often lead thousands to feed together along roads and at grain fields nearby, attracting many human onlookers, who occasionally photograph the massive flocks or follow behind tractors spreading the seed. In a number of these same spots, groups numbering hundreds migrate by late spring each year after traveling for countless miles south through Canada during fall before taking the exact route taken this morning across North American landscape from Canada to Central America along the Mexican-US border and then south towards Panama canal zones at times accompanied with hundreds more of similar flying forms from all over region making them highly sought-out attraction every season among outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers worldwide always drawn to watch and marvel at massive numbers like thousands in large flocks moving as one big flock down entire US southern route taking time crossing Gulf of Mexico near Florida on east coast of Mexico, sometimes dropping down into fields for better eating but still maintain close group flying formations high overhead all over North American land from north of Canada's southern province Quebec to northern state of Maine through most southern part along east US-Mexican boarder with some resting on islands within Sea of Cortez just south before Gulf of California waters while still making big migrations.
