Grubs

myminifactory

A collection of tiny monstrous creature miniatures for 28mm games. Pre-supported and unsupported files included. Also includes simple printable figure bases, and a couple of larger rocky bases. Weird little bitey ball monsters, with whippy-clippy grabby tails. These ravenous little beasties hunt in packs, swarming over their prey and picking it clean to the bone in seconds. There are 18 different varieties, and you can group them all on to one base as a swarm monster, or give them each little individual bases. Either way, they are sure to make for a terrifying and memorable encounter! Dark-Platypus Studio specializes in making models for role-playing game enthusiasts. Our models are designed to be printed in 28mm scale, the perfect size for Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder, or other games that are often played on a 1” grid. They are also designed to stand up to actual tabletop use: no ridiculous spindly bits that look awesome but are going to break the first time someone sneezes. Paintability and ease of assembly are also important concerns to our design aesthetic.  I sculpted these beasties at the behest of my wife, who gave me a doodle and told me to go to town. She used the swarm as a  proxy in her Dark Age games, but they’d also make great monsters in any other game! Dark-Platypus Studios publishes the Mutant Mayhem Minis line of models, which are officially licensed for use with Mutant Crawl Classics, published by Goodman Games. All models have been checked for errors and test-printed.
