I designed this custom smart hook as a direct replacement for a GRR-RIP Block push block that had been severely damaged in a jointer-planer mishap. I had initially purchased the push block specifically for resawing, but when it got caught by the blades without being properly secured with the peg, it suffered irreparable damage. Determined to get my tool back up and running at full capacity, I set out to create this replacement part to restore it to its original state.
