Growmau5 Far Red Initiator Puck 45° Wallmount
thingiverse
The ideal printing material for the Growmau5 Far Red Initiator Puck's 45° Wallmount is probably PETG or ABS, as these plastics can withstand higher temperatures and the puck may get quite warm. To enhance heat dissipation, I have added extra passive heatsinks to the back of my pucks using thermal adhesive. The mounting holes are approximately 2mm in diameter, so I drilled them out a bit and tapped them to 3mm threads before attaching some spare computer standoffs. A 5x2.5x5.5mm Male Right Angle DC Power Plug is required to power the puck; originally, I planned to have the power cable exit through the top, but drawing those angles proved challenging, resulting in a design flaw that had the plug facing the wrong direction. To prevent damage from strain, I created a notch at the top for a cable tie.
