Hi! Need a versatile shelf that adapts to any space and expands as needed? Is your printer bored with nothing to do? This set of interlocking pieces can be combined to create unique shelves for storing figurines, small items, or larger collectibles. You can add more parts to make the shelves grow and expand. The concept is simple and inspired by Edge Wang Tiles and bitmasking techniques used in game terrain generation. Here's how it works: Print a batch of pieces Find an attractive combination Use pins and glue to secure the module Combine modules Attach to a wall or desktop as desired Fill with items Repeat the process Files Included: STL files for 40x40 mm parts and Thingview pins ZIP files containing sets of pieces for 40x80, 80x40, 80x80, 120x40, and 160x40 units A file with an array of 9 pins (you'll need many) Customizer: Use the customizer to create custom parts not included in STL files. Adjust the main grid size (default: 40 mm) and part thickness (default: 10 mm). Then, generate parts by multiplying the grid size up to four times. Important Note: Pins alone may not provide a strong structure. Use pins and apply glue for a secure fix. Alternative Fixing Options: Double-sided tape Hooks or racks More Information: Pin dimensions are 10mm x 5mm, but I print them slightly smaller (9 x 4.75 mm). Glue is used to ensure a strong joint between parts. Future Updates: I'm experimenting with new pieces and parts that can be used in various designs and applications.
