Grout, Groot's borther

Grout, Groot's borther

I created Grout, the brother of Groot, from Guardian of the Galaxy while testing Sculptris Pro mode on ZBrush. Next, I decided to build a Wacom pen holder with it and also made a variation as a trash can or flower pot since I'm aiming for a bonsai tree growing on top of his head. The model has been completely hollowed out. Please don't use this model for commercial purposes. If you share a print (photos, etc.), would you mind crediting "PolyWorkshop.fr"? Thanks. ##SLA and FDM STL files: I'm providing the same model, one for FDM and one for SLA. The only variation for the SLA is the addition of two vent holes on the bottom to prevent suction cup issues. ##FDM Printing recommendations: No support needed to print this model. However, if you want a flower pot, use at least 3 outlines (I would suggest 4) and a ~30% infill. 3 layers for the bottom and top, or maybe 4 for the bottom if you plan to use it as a flowerpot. Depending on the size of the final print, I wouldn't recommend printing below 150 microns per layer and 50mm/s for speed. I successfully printed it on the Creality CR10S and Tevo Tornado. ##SLA Printing recommendations: This model has many details even though decimation removed some of them. You can have a few overhangs that will need additional support to avoid failed prints. I successfully printed this model with the Form2 and Slash+, but I checked each layer individually to carefully add supports where needed. **Follow me on social media:** - YouTube (Mainly French): https://www.youtube.com/polyworkshop - Instagram (english): https://www.instagram.com/lecaramel/ - Instagram (french): https://www.instagram.com/polyworkshop/ - Instagram, figurine, (english): https://www.instagram.com/darkfigurines/ - Twitter (english): https://twitter.com/lecaramel - Twitter (french): https://twitter.com/polyworkshop
