Group with two Greyhounds
myminifactory
This pair of greyhounds resembles a previous scan of The Townley Greyhounds, sculpted in the 1st-2nd Century and stored at the British Museum. This version is from the 18th century and was sculpted by Francesco Antonio Franzoni, the artist largely responsible for the Hall of the Animals set up under Pope Pius VI in the Vatican Museum. The original is stored at the Vatican Museum, but an alternate version was found in Innsbruck, in the Landesmuseum's collection. Credit to Simeon Brugger for scanning the sculpture. The original model can be found on threedscans.com by Olvier Laric.
