The wax model excels in duplicating facial and lingual contours, boasting nearly an ideal shape and location of facial/buccal and lingual HOC. Satisfactory duplication of occlusal surfaces and occlusal contacts is achieved due to the minor absence/overcontour on centric contacts and slightly efficient canine/incisal guidance presented by the wax model. Proximal contacts and embrasure spaces are duplicated effectively because the wax model has closed contacts, easy to see on VR. The overall tooth anatomy of the wax model presents an ideal shape. The wax surfaces exhibit a luster and smoothness with no rough surfaces.
