To mark Groundhog Day 2020, I relived last year's animated flip clock celebration. In 2018, I opted to draw inspiration from a memorable scene in my beloved film Groundhog Day (1993). This iconic moment features Bill Murray's Phil, who kidnaps Punxsutawney Phil and allows the groundhog to take control of a truck. My artwork takes cues from Shepard Fairey's influential "Hope" poster for Barack Obama's 2008 campaign, infusing it with a unique style that pays homage to this beloved classic.
