I was seeking a reliable method to secure 3/4 inch ID PEX tubing firmly into the ground for FPV racing gates. I recently modified the original design to fit snugly around the PEX. If you experience any issues with the spike coming loose, simply drill a hole through it and the surrounding PEX, then bolt them securely in place.
