After purchasing a RTL-SDR USB device, I attempted to receive some radio signals. However, the antenna supplied with it was not satisfactory for me, so I decided to design my own antenna for a specific frequency. The ground plane antenna presented itself as the simplest solution, and I headed to the hardware store to purchase the necessary materials for assembly. B.O.M. ->5 x 1-meter-long aluminum rods, each 6 millimeters in diameter; ->8 x M4 screws, 12 millimeters long; ->4 x M4 screws, 20 millimeters long; ->5 x M3 screws; ->80-centimeter PVC pipe with a diameter of 20 millimeters; ->Antenna cable (I'm using a common 75-ohm TV/SAT cable with a diameter of 5.7 millimeters); ->Connector (In my case, an F-type connector) To determine the length of each metal component, I utilized this website: https://m0ukd.com/calculators/quarter-wave-ground-plane-antenna-calculator
