Ground Glass Riser for Graflex SLR Cameras and LomoGraflok Instax Back- Easy Install/Reversal (Dec. 2021 Rev.)

Now that FP100C et al have gone the way of the dodo, Instax Wide is the instant film I've turned to. I have been shooting it in film holders and doing the dark bag shuffle for a few years. I started converting some Wide300 cameras to make automatic backs for my 4x5 Super D SLR, but I stopped once the LomoGraflok was announced.

Here's my December revision of the riser shim and viewfinder mask. The design uses heat-set inserts to hold the mask in, which holds the ground glass at the right spacing and angle from its original position. I extensively checked and calibrated this model, which works for both of my Super D's with Graflok backs, even with f2.5 lenses that are very picky due to the shallow depth of field. Have some further revisions (adjustable, etc) in the pipeline to release soon. Also there's an adapter for using the LomoGraflok back on Graflex back cameras, like many of the SLRs have. You're not stuck with needing to adapt your camera to use Graflok back or looking for a more expensive one with it already attached.

M3 Screws hold the ground glass and viewfinder mask on. I use heat-set inserts for them to screw into, but it does work without the inserts. You may have to shim the glass to match your camera's needs. Later revisions will take care of this, but please give these a shot for now.
