Grommet & Spacer for 6-32 UNC x 6 ("Computer Case Screw")
thingiverse
Grommet and 2mm Spacer for 5-32 UNC x 6mm Screws. That's the hexagon-shaped screw with a built-in washer, commonly used when mounting PC case panels, floppy drives, hard drives, CD-ROM-drives, and so on. A 6mm depth isn't recommended, yet it's frequently seen in use. I needed a 2mm spacer and grommet to attach SCSI drives in my Sun SPARCstation 10, which has an unusual design for mounting the drives. The service manual mentions a special mounting plate, but I didn't see the point, so I made these replacement parts instead. I printed these with Fillamentum Flexfill 98A to fill their original purpose: vibration dampening. I'm guessing nobody will need these parts for my reason, but they may still be useful for others; at least for remixes. Included: * Blender project file * STL for one spacer * STL for one grommet
