I require a secure means to suspend a heat lamp from my spray painting canopy. The four-part grommet effectively secures the fabric between two discs (washers), while the insert tightly holds the electrical cord of the lamp within the central hole. I can envision using this device without the insert, or with alternative inserts, to pass hoses and cords through nylon, polyester, or canvas materials. If there is sufficient interest, I can design a version for solid materials that excludes the dimples used to grip the fabric.
