Gromit - Wallace & Gromit

Here is a low-poly model of Gromit from the classic stop-motion animated films by Aardman Animations. The character's design is instantly recognizable, with his large head, pointed ears, and long snout making him a beloved companion to Wallace in their various adventures. To create this low-poly version, I started by breaking down Gromit's body into basic geometric shapes, using cylinders for his legs and a cube for his torso. The facial features were achieved through the use of simple polygons, with the eyes and nose being small circles and the mouth a thin line. The resulting model is surprisingly detailed given its simplicity, capturing the character's essence while reducing it to its most fundamental forms. This process allows us to appreciate Gromit's design in a new light, highlighting the ingenuity that went into creating such an endearing character.
