Grizzly
thingiverse
This is a public sculpture called Grizzly commissioned by the City of North Vancouver in 2007. It stands at the corner of Lonsdale Avenue and 8th Street in North Vancouver, BC, Canada. The artist behind this work is Ken Clarke. I used Meshroom photogrammetry software to create this model from about 160 photos I took of the sculpture. The mesh was then cleaned up in Meshmixer, and tree-style supports were added. The model named "bear2-support.stl" includes these supports and can be printed as-is without any additional support needed. It was printed at a 0.2mm layer height using AMZ3D grey PLA on a Prusa i3 Mk2. The model named "bear2.stl" does not include supports, so add your own as you see fit. There is enough detail in the model to make it significantly larger if desired. To be clear, the creative commons license I have chosen applies only to my photos and 3D model of the public sculpture that I have uploaded here, not to the sculpture itself.
