This is a public sculpture named Grizzly commissioned in 2007 by the City of North Vancouver. It is located at the corner of Lonsdale Ave and 8th St in North Vancouver, BC, Canada. The artist is Ken Clarke.

I made this model using Meshroom photogrammetry software and about 160 photos I took of the sculpture. I cleaned up the mesh from Meshroom in Meshmixer, and also added tree style supports.

The model named "bear2-support.stl" includes these supports and should print as-is, with no additional support needed. I printed at 0.2mm layer height in AMZ3D grey PLA on a Prusa i3 Mk2.

The model named "bear2.stl" does not include supports. Add your own as you see fit. There is enough detail in the model that you could re-scale to make it significantly larger if desired.

To be clear, the creative commons license I have chosen applies to my photos and 3D model of the public sculpture that I have uploaded here, not the sculpture itself.

Originally published on Thingiverse in December 2018 as https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3324106

Category: Sculptures
