Gritty Googly Eyes
thingiverse
Turn any pair of glasses into Gritty's googly eyes, the world's second greatest sports mascot after the national treasure that is the Phanatic. These eyes are the perfect blend of creepy and fun, embodying all things Gritty. Print the brackets and whites in white, the irises in Flyers orange, and the pupils in black. To assemble, glue the bracket into the back of the eye white. Insert the pupil into the iris and through the hole in the eye white, then plug the back with a printed pin. Apply glue where needed to secure everything. I also found it helpful to wrap the clips on the bracket with some tape for a softer and tighter contact point with the glasses. Note that the brackets were printed with supports, while all other pieces can be printed freely without any issues. Be cautious when engaging the googly nature of these eyes, as they spin fairly freely and can cause whiplash if not handled carefully. It may take some momentum to get them moving, but once they start, it's hard to stop them.
