Automated Trophy Design for the 2020 GRITS Trophy Design Contest sponsored by Automation Direct. Contributors: Kenneth Shen, Samantha PrabakaranWhat everything represents:FIRST City is placed in the middle, the city that teams are trying to protect in the Infinite Recharge game. Representing the shield, a dome surrounds FIRST city, protecting it. A person can turn the trophy on using this control knob, and FIRST City lights up. Just as in the game, a shield generator switch must be level in order for the city to be protected by the shield . However, if the switch is not level, an air cylinder actuates up, raising the city, and causing two joints to push the shield apart, leaving the city unprotected. To level the switch, a person can slide two robots along the bottom of the switch. The air cylinder then actuates down, pulling the dome back together, and the city is protected.
