For a project, I required a straightforward gripper to grasp a tube and twist it. I printed this uncomplicated model (initially without rounded edges, ouch!) and it performed admirably. I attached the OpenScad file so you can modify the inner radius. To twist the tube, I had to add some gripping surface between the surfaces of the gripper and the tube; otherwise, it slipped. I used a simple elastic band, but any rubbery material will suffice. Have fun, and I hope this is helpful.
