This vehicle takes shape from a concept art piece created by Joe Sutton for the video game "GRIP," developed by Caged Element. You can visit Joe Sutton's site, GRIP, and original artwork here: http://downplusb.com/, https://www.cagedelement.com/grip/, and https://cagedelement.com/forum/download/file.php?id=228 respectively. I started this project to hone my skills, and I certainly gained a lot by the time it was done. As a beginner in modeling, I still have rough edges that need polishing - both figuratively and literally. My main challenge is inefficiency - there's a lot of wasted geometry, mainly because I haven't mastered texturing yet, so I assigned colors to parts of the mesh using Blender's material system. Still, I'm very happy with how it turned out, and I learned much more than I thought I would while working on it. My plan is to revisit this model once I get better at UV unwrapping and texturing.
