grip adaptor for Well MB-06 Spring Sniper Rifle (Softair) to mount standard M4 grips (left)
thingiverse
I'd like to share a custom project of mine, designed for personal use. It's an adapter I came up with to attach a standard M4 grip - a Panther Sniper Style model that I purchased - to my ASG Urban Sniper Rifle (also known as the Well MB-06 or Echo 1). This adapter consists of two main parts: a left half and a right half, which work together. To secure these halves in place, four pins are necessary, measuring exactly 2 mm in diameter and ranging from 4 to 6 mm in length. Additionally, two new screws are required with accompanying nuts and washers; I opted for M5 x 30 hexagon head bolts. Please note that some minor adjustments might be needed depending on the grip you plan to use. You're welcome to make modifications, build upon my design, or provide feedback - likes are always appreciated too! Before attempting this project, keep in mind that while it has been successfully mounted onto the rifle, field and long-term testing remains pending. Now, let's dive into the instructions for assembly. Using a student version of SolidWorks 2013 was instrumental in bringing my idea to life. I merely took measurements and adapted an existing part that originally housed the standard grip on the rifle. With your 3D printer or parts manufacturer of choice, you can order both halves and proceed with installation. Just add nuts and - voilà!
