Human: I utilize my grinding mini machine at home, generating a lot of dust every time I work with it. So I finally found some time to create a vacuum cover that connects with my vacuum cleaner. I printed and tested the cover successfully enough. The volume of dust was reduced dramatically. The grinding machine I use is a Sturm BG60075 (75 mm grinding stone diameter). There are many identical machines with the same dimensions, so the cover could be used (maybe with minor modifications). Hose holder is designed for 32mm vacuum cleaner handle (with small cone from 32 to 33 mm) Print Settings Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Hesine Prusa I3 Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 25 Notes: The best results are obtained with the S3D slicer. Three layers shells and top/bottom perimeter Correct placement see in attached pictures Parts are designed to minimize supports usage. Support is needed for inlet - outlet areas only. Post-Printing I used PLA to make it easier (ABS should be more suitable). Any way, plastic surface inside must be protected from sparks by using self-adhesive aluminum tape (see pictures). These are the areas around grinding stone and outlet area. Use silicon or glue to attach hose holder to the cover. I was surprised to find some sparks leaving vacuum area between hose holder and cover. I also found that using two small brushes inside avoid sparks circling around grinding stone and reduce dust going out. I also recommend putting 1mm thin steel plate on working horizontal area to protect from being melted. How I Designed This I couldn't fix all the overlapped and other problematic triangles of the model (apologize), but it didn't create any problems during printing.
