GrilleDuct for Printrbot
thingiverse
I replace the CPU fan duct with a sleek exhaust system that directs cool air straight into the heart of the Printrbot 1403, where it belongs. The clever chassis thermometer used to think the operating temperature was way too hot at 49C, but now it stays nice and calm at a toasty 38C max, thanks to the hardworking 5V fan humbly spinning its wheels. This ambient air conditioning solution also allows me to reach behind my printer without getting my fingers squished by that grille, which I've thankfully installed to keep my curious hands from turning into prune-like creations.
