Application presented: protection of a modified toy. Outside diameter: 149 mm; thickness: 7 mm. The goal of this invention is to protect the propeller of a toy in order to prevent contact between the propeller and the face or hands of a child during normal use. Originally, the car was propelled using a balloon that deflated as it ran out of air. This protection consists of a grid and its support. The assembly of the grid on its support is achieved by rivets made from a PLA wire drop of 1.75 mm in diameter, which are soldered in place using a heat source. A flexible hose attached to the switch serves two purposes: it helps to absorb the impact when the toy hits an obstacle and switches off the motor by tilting the entire mechanism. The plastic surround around the propeller is made from recycled bottle plastic, which is glued to the support using double-sided adhesive. This invention utilizes a specific grid design, recommended as "GRILLE_149_V3.stl", which has been optimized for this particular application. However, it's worth noting that this design may not be as effective at dissipating air flow as another alternative option, "GRILLE_149_V1.stl".
