Grill Pan Handle
thingiverse
No idea what the original handle was made from; something like Bakelite for a guess. In any case, it snapped so the 3D printer had to come in and save the day. The first replacement I printed in PETG suffered from the heat of the grill when accidentally left attached, giving me the motivation to redesign something close to the original as a way to also learn more about OnShape in particular, and lofting in general. This print is in ABS (printed at 250/104, no fan, 0.4 nozzle, 12% infill, 2 shells). We deliberately left it attached while grilling toast this morning, taking the picture above immediately afterwards. It remains to be seen how resilient it would be to being left for longer periods. The OnShape design is here, should you wish to play with or modify it. https://cad.onshape.com/documents/6e7267e32f8e965ce511546c/w/5627c2a4fa4463761b676d61/e/feff6463b9c0a073fbcaf7bc
