If you're going to use your grigri2 for high-tensioning like slacklining, the handle is likely to break first. To replace it, you can use the part included here. With 25% infill, I haven't tested it under real conditions yet, but it works well in low tension. I'll update this design later. To get started, follow these instructions: First, drill out the rivet of your old grigri2 handle to remove the original one. Next, print the part with 25% infill using PLA or ABS. A nozzle size of 0.4 is recommended. Then, check if a screw with a triangular head and about 2mm in diameter fits into the grigri hole. Now, drill out the new handle according to the fake hole pattern, making sure to use the right diameter. If you want to take it to the next level, you can skip the bolt at the end and see if your screw is tight enough on the plastic. Alternatively, consider adding a metal plate at the cam contact point and filling any potential resistance areas with resin or superglue. Enjoy your upgraded grigri!
