----for english, please scroll down--- Bei der Hamann "Manus"-Rechenmaschine fehlt oft die rote Kappe am Umschalter des Löschhebels, oder es fehlen sogar die (identischen) Kappen an den Einstellhebeln. Diese Kappe ist dichter am Original als die meist empfohlenen Schrumpfschläuche. Man kann sie ausdrucken und entweder direkt auf den Umschalter setzen oder nach dem Rundfeilen der Unterseite auch auf den Einstellhebeln verwenden. Da die Kappe unten gerade ist, sitzt sie fester als das Original. Sollte auch für andere Hamann-Rechenmaschinen wie z.B. die Elma oder die Automat passen. ----------------------------------------- The Hamann "Manus" calculator often lacks the red cap that should be placed on the selection switch controlling the delete lever. On some machines, the (identical) caps on the setting levers are also missing.  This cap loks much more "original" than the simple shrinking tubes that some restaurators recommend as replacement. You may either use it as it is for the selection switch - since it has a straight bottom, it does not get lost so easily. Or you may sand the bottom round as it is on an original cap and then use it for the setting levers as well. The cap should also fit onto other Hamann calculators such as the Hamann Elma or the Hamann Automat.
