This project began life as one of my pitches for a Blizzard Art contest. However, it took an unexpected turn and the final outcome ended up being something entirely different. Having selected another concept over this creature, I decided to complete this as a focused assignment project. The requirements for this assignment were narrowed down to PBR textures and fowl, pushing the creature into a semi-realistic realm. Consequently, with a low poly budget and a focus on texture detail, the goal was to elevate these textures to a higher level of detail.
