Griffin Armament Suppressor Tool
thingiverse
The Griffin Armament Optimus suppressor comes with a rubber tool for removing and installing the booster assembly, HK 3 lug assembly and other parts of it. Unfortunately I had a baffle strike and noticed when I got it back they tightened the hell out of it for testing so I will do the same. I took a break from using it on my MPX and really wanted to put the Optimus on my Glock for shits and giggles but the 3 lug assembly was really stuck on there. The included rubber tool is useless for much more than a few in/lbs of torque so I made this as a more robust solution. It works with all Griffin periodic toothed things except the middle one in the rubber adapter. I'm not sure what accessory this is used for and can't find it on their website. So it works with coarse 'tooth' accessories like the pistol booster shown as well as fine tooth accessories like the 3 lug adapter. Medium coarseness one is unknown. As a bonus it also works with 3 lug adapters. I really don't know why they bothered to put that into the rubber mold, that is totally useless for anything more than inspiration. See below for details. Print Settings Printer: FFCreat0r Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 200 micron Infill: 100% Notes: I printed at 10% for the prototype and it ended up working but to use this to its potential, 100% is recommended. When I break mine I'll reprint at 100%. Custom Section Fine tooth accessory on the left, coarse tooth on the right. I couldn't get the cage thing removed from the HK 3 lug mount using the black rubber version of this tool included with the suppressor. Using vice shop press whatever ya got secure the tool and use your armorers wrench to remove the stuck part. Congrats you can now finally use your muzzle device on your desired host! Screw it on with pride, your investment into 3D printing saved your ass again!
