Gridless Ender 3 MKS Gen L case
thingiverse
I have not and do not intend on printing this part. Instead, I've chosen to use an SKR 1.3, mounting it in a rear-mount case. Given that the stock Creality fans become extremely loud once air resistance is introduced, since I plan to enclose my Ender-3 (and let's be honest, those small lines never filtered dust effectively), I saw no need for grid lines and removed them. My goal is to start printing in the future; for now, I'm sharing this information with anyone interested in a similar setup. To accomplish this modification, I simply entered Tinkercad and created a circular hole matching the diameter. I grouped it, which allowed me to remove the lines. Meshmixer reports that my design is fine, whereas PrusaSlicer throws 16 errors.
